The 1962 season began at its new location on US Route 202 between Lambertville and Ringoes, NJ, a few miles north of its original location on "Music Mountain" above Lambertville.
In 1962 the practice of using the Singers and Dancers of the Resident Company to play many of the Supporting Roles in their productions continued from 1961. The reasons for this change are not clear. It could have been financial or it may have been the result of engaging much more talented and versatile performers. See the 1962 Resident Company Ensemble below to see what productions in which each appeared in a supporting role. See the Playbills for information on what roles they played.
Each year, the Music Circus' Public Relations Office would produce a "Season Program" at the beginning of each season, listing the shows and other attractions being offered for the whole season.

I remember one afternoon watching the rehearsal for "The Threepenny Opera." It wasn't pulling together as it should and Director Louie MacMillan was frustrated. He called a halt to the scene and he yelled from the back of the tent, "Every line in this show is a lie. Play it that way. Say each line as if it's a lie." Instantly the scenes pulled together. Great directing! -Jon Case
